1st - #4 Critical Choice | 2nd - #6 Lucky Is My Name | 3rd - #1 Entry
COMMENTARY : The #4 CRITICAL CHOICE turned in a solid effort first time out in a very quick heat; she drops slightly for this one so a repeat performance will get her the winner's cheque. The #6 LUCKY IS MY NAME has a nice work tab for his debut so we'll see if he can live up to his name. Both the #1 ANY SUNDAY and the #1a ALMOSTOUTOFTHEBLUE hail from a top two year old barn and should be respected in this dash.Race #2
1st - #9 Tough Torque | 2nd - #5 Der Koenig | 3rd - #7 Southern Miracle
COMMENTARY : The #9 TOUGH TORQUE got caught up in a battle on the rail with a monster last time but with him facing a little easier field and moving to the outside I think he'll get a perfect trip sitting just off of a couple need-the-lead types and should fire a good race from there. VALUE !! The #5 DER KOENIG is making his first start in almost a year and if he has gotten enough conditioning out of those works then he'll be a factor as well. The #7 SOUTHERN MIRACLE is another off-the-pace type that I think will benefit from a projected speed duel between the #1 SLEW THE BELIEVER and the #3 BOLD KNOCKOUT.

1st - #7 W W Turbo | 2nd - #6 Market Bell | 3rd - #2 Exploding
COMMENTARY : The #7 W W TURBO is taking a huge class drop and with a bullet (likely in blinkers- he races with blinkers this afternoon) work in 45.60 and leading rider up so he looks like a strong wire-to-wire candidate at this level. The #6 MARKET BELL was unlucky to get a very slow pace set in front of him last time out but today the pace should be quick and if my top pick is getting a little tired late then this guy will nail him. The #2 EXPLODING has been good in all three of his starts this year and with him drawing a perfect post for his style he could also be a factor.Race #4
1st - #3 Market Flair | 2nd - #9 Lennylooksgood | 3rd - #7 Let's Git R Done
COMMENTARY : The #3 MARKET FLAIR ran much better when dropped down to this tag two weeks ago and with him looking like the main speed in this one he should last the entire trip this time. The #9 LENNYLOOKSGOOD was scratched three weeks back after flipping in the paddock but if he can ever get on his best behaviour he has some talent and could threaten for the win. The #7 LET'S GIT R DONE ran reasonably well in his latest with slightly better company; in light and the price could be right.Race #5
1st - #4 Savin' Dimes | 2nd - #1 Sultry Eyes | 3rd - #7 Paradise Cruiser
COMMENTARY : I think there's enough speed in this dash to set up the #4 SAVIN' DIMES who was inconvenienced by a wide trip last time out yet still managed to finish up a close fourth. VALUE !! The #1 SULTRY EYES returns (via the claim box) to the barn that did very well with her last season but she still needs to move forward quite a bit which is why I've left her in the second spot and price probably won't be great anyways. The #7 PARADISE CRUISER will get her blinkers back today and I think her off-the-pace style will help her in this spot.

1st - #6 Area Code | 2nd - #8 Quagmire | 3rd - #10 Wings Of An Eagle
COMMENTARY : The #6 AREA CODE has turned in three good efforts this spring with $8,000 claimers but down here for $5,000 he looks to be the best; the barn is red-hot right now. The #8 QUAGMIRE keeps getting close but just can't seem to get the win and my top selection surfacing in this one he may have to settle for second again today. The #10 WINGS OF AN EAGLE is back in sprinting after a decent try going long; he has a tricky post assignment and is better than most of these so I think he'll get a piece of the TRIACTOR and SUPERFECTA.

1st - #7 Slew's Boy | 2nd - #4 Good Bad N Ugly | 3rd - #3 When In Rome
COMMENTARY : The #7 SLEW'S BOY crushed an easy field of non-two conditional $8,000 runners in his latest but I think the race really woke him up and I can see him getting the lead in this dash and he'll be tough to catch if he does. The #4 GOOD BAD N UGLY should've won last time but he was stuck in traffic in the stretch and just missed by a nose; definitely the one to beat. The #3 WHEN IN ROME just lasted in that photo with the #4 GOOD BAD N UGLY and is another that has a good shot of winning. TOUGH RACE !!!Race #8
1st - #3 Star Prospector | 2nd - #5 Cabron | 3rd - #4 Alarico
COMMENTARY : The #3 STAR PROSPECTOR shortens up in distance this afternoon after his easy score in a stakes race going a mile in Calgary; he's a versatile type that can win on the lead or sit just off of it which could come in handy today. The #5 CABRON only has the one poor race on form throughout his six-race career and after watching how game he was in his latest win he could pose a strong threat to the favourite. The #4 ALARICO is sharp right now and ran his career best last time; he's up in class but could surprise some people.Race #9
1st - #4 Flaming Zianah | 2nd - #3 Lady Shogun | 3rd - #6 Frankie's Secret
COMMENTARY : The #4 FLAMING ZIANAH had a wide trip with better maidens last time and with leading rider jumping on board I will too. The #3 LADY SHOGUN is another dropping in search of her first victory; she has speed and could lead them for long ways. The #6 FRANKIE'S SECRET was traveling well at the end of her latest so if the speed comes back she might be the 'closer' in the field.
