Race #1

1st - #2 Regal Roo | 2nd - #3 End Result | 3rd - #6 Dressed As A Star

COMMENTARY : The #2 REGAL ROO has been much better of late and turned in a solid effort sprinting at this level in her latest; she's bred to like this longer trip and I'll take her to win it. The #3 END RESULT is one of three fillies in here trying this distance for the first time; she hasn't raced for seven weeks but is bred to improve at this mile and a sixteenth trip so it would be no surprise if she were to get the victory. The #6 DRESSED AS A STAR drops back to this $8,000 category where she's been very competitive and could be the lone speed.

Race #2

1st - #2 P S Commander | 2nd - #3 Cool Vic | 3rd - #4 Dancinfor Diamonds

COMMENTARY : The #2 P S COMMANDER ran a huge race in his maiden score when offered for $8,000 and even though the competition is tougher today he should get the front end to himself and I think he'll lead this group wire-to-wire. The #3 COOL VIC has been sharp at this level but really isn't at his best distance today which is why I've left him in the second spot. The #4 DANCINFOR DIAMONDS has found a level where he's more competitive and he's actually shown in his last two races that he's 'live' at any distance; if he can stay close to the pace early he has a shot of winning.

Race #3

1st - #7 P S I B Good | 2nd - #5 Stadacona Luck | 3rd - #4 Santino

COMMENTARY : The #7 P S I B GOOD had the lead in mid-stretch last week but was nailed by a 'deep closer' late and he had to settle for second but I think a repeat of that race gets him the winner's cheque this time. The #5 STADACONA LUCK chased a quick pace in his comeback race and pretty much held his position throughout; the track was very fast that day and the winner didn't fare very well next time out so he'll need to be better today to beat my top pick. The #4 SANTINO looks as good as anything else for third and will need to improve a lot to get more than third money.

Race #4

1st - #6 Ghost Pirate | 2nd - #3 Buckaroo Lou | 3rd - #2 Masterpeach

COMMENTARY : The #6 GHOST PIRATE is in a much better spot today down for $25,000 and more importantly cutting back in distance to a sprint; he should get the lead to himself and I like him to last the entire trip on top. The #3 BUCKAROO LOU has been hitting the fringes in his races with slightly better and looks good in this spot if he can get his sprint legs back after a couple of good efforts going long. The #2 MASTERPEACH took advantage of a speed favouring course and a race that didn't feature any speed it and he went wire-to-wire; he's returns to the same price but this race has come up considerably tougher than his winning race was so he'll need to be better to keep his winning streak intact.

Race #5

1st - #7 Xalibou | 2nd - #1 Entry | 3rd - #2 Entry

COMMENTARY : The #7 XALIBOU keeps running into sharp ones and can't quite break his maiden despite turning some winning efforts; he should be close to the pace again today and with this race coming up a little easier I think today's the big day for him. The #1 ENTRY is headed by #1 NORTHERN VOW who drew far better than his stablemate and ran very well in his debut two weeks ago; a slight improvement makes him a huge threat to the #7 XALIBOU. The #2 ENTRY has two solid performers in it and I'm sure they will get a lot of respect at the windows but they both need to get better to threaten the top two.

Race #6

1st - #5 Royal Sovereign | 2nd - #3 Scots Pine | 3rd - #4 Mr. Saturday Dance

COMMENTARY : The #5 ROYAL SOVEREIGN broke his maiden in a stakes race at two and looked to be a promising colt before heading to the sidelines; he seems to have a found a nice spot to return and I'll gamble that he's ready to go after a one year layoff. The #3 SCOTS PINE dropped into a $20,000 conditional race and was just run down in deep stretch and if the #5 ROYAL SOVEREIGN isn't at his best then this guy could lead the field throughout. The #4 MR. SATURDAY DANCE has turned in two solid efforts at this level and if he can get a bit of pace going up front to help him out he could get all the money.

Race #7

1st - #5 Loving Laur | 2nd - #6 Dance Odyssey | 3rd - #4 Yoorock Gal

COMMENTARY : The #5 LOVING LAUR ran extremely well in her first stakes try and looks like the one to beat as she returns to allowance company. The #6 DANCE ODYSSEY stumbled at the start then was rushed up to challenge for the lead and I wasn't surprised that she was very tired late in the race as she was asked to do a lot; she'll probably be ridden a little less aggressively today and she'll be fitter as well so I expect her improve. The #4 YOOROCK GAL has been training well for her '07 debut after an excellent '06 campaign; she has speed which will make her dangerous so if she's gotten enough conditioning out of works she could be tough to catch.

Race #8

1st - #7 Market Bell | 2nd - #8 Sir Luther | 3rd - #6 Rank Six

COMMENTARY : The #7 MARKET BELL had a rough trip in his first try going long which resulted in a fifth place finish; he's back in for the same tag where he almost got a victory two starts ago and I'll play him to win it. The #8 SIR LUTHER looks to be the speed of the race which gives him a tactical edge over my top pick but he'll need to better than he was last time because that was a race I thought he never should've lost. The #6 RANK SIX has some excellent morning trials and could be the sleeper of the group.
