Table Lease

To the patrons of Silks Restaurant:

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back to another exciting Live Racing Season. The 2011 season brings us 71 live race days including 19 Friday nights.

As many of you are aware, Silks has operated with a $5 cover charge per person. In the spirit of change, we have decided to try something new this season. We will waive the $5 cover charge when purchasing the buffet. However, in the case of table lease owners, we will not reimburse the $5 cover charge or provide credit with the purchase of a buffet.

In order to be clear with all of our guests and prevent any misunderstandings we have come up with a formal application that outlines the terms and conditions. A table of two will cost $400 and a table of 4 will cost $800 for the 71 race days. Tables will go on sale March.1st 2011. With the purchase of a table of two or four for the complete live race season, we will include a preferred parking pass (complimentary parking in our preferred lot).

Payment can be made on any day of the week. On Saturday’s leading up to April 16th payment can be made in Silks restaurant. Otherwise, any other day, please speak with guest services in the main lobby. Cash or credit cards are the accepted methods of payment.

We will also offer a partial season table lease option. This will include a just Saturday or just Sunday racing with the option to add holiday’s to the package. Prices will start at $200 (table of 2) and $400 (table of 4).

Keep in mind, if you prefer not to reserve for the entire season, we will continue to take reservations for the day you would like to attend. The $5 cover charge per person does apply. No cover charge will apply with the purchase of a buffet (This does not apply to out a la carte menu)...

In 2011 we will be offering primarily buffet with an extended a la carte menu as well as the Chef’s monthly fresh sheet. The buffet price starts at $18.95 on weekends and $26.95 on Friday nights. Silks will have a number of buffet-only days. On these days the buffet price will be $26.95, the buffet will be themed for the specific event. The following days are buffet only days: Kentucky Derby, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Canada Day, BC Cup, Labour Day, BC Oaks/ BC Derby.
