What days of the week are Group Packages available for live racing and when does the live racing season begin? The 2012 live racing season runs April 14 until October 14.

Facility and venue rentals are available year-round on both race and non-race days.

How do I get to Hastings Racecourse?
Hastings Racecourse is conveniently located 4 miles from downtown Vancouver and just west of Highway 1. The easiest way to enter is through PNE Gate 6 located on Renfrew (at Cambridge), North of East Hastings Street.

Is there a charge for parking?
Parking is administered by the PNE with availability and fees subject to PNE’s event schedule. Please check www.pne.ca for more information.

Valet parking is available at our main clubhouse entrance for an additional $6.00.

Is there a special entrance for groups?
Group hosts/organizers should enter through the Main Lobby entrance and check-in with our guest services staff who will notify your group sales representative of your arrival.

Guest may proceed directly to their group venue space.

What time should I arrive?
Rentals are available 1.5 hours prior to the first race with food and beverage services ceasing at the second to last race.

We recommend you plan to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the first race. A typical race card can last up to 4 hours.

Where can I go if I arrive early?
Simulcast racing is available in our racebooks or try your hand on our gaming floor featuring 600 slot machines.

Jeromes Pub, Eclipse Lounge, and the George Royal Room offer food and beverage service beginning at 11:00 am.

What is the dress code?
The dress code is “smart casual.” This simply means we do not allow sweat pants, ripped jeans, athletic shorts, tank tops and other forms of abbreviated attire.

We encourage guests to dress appropriately for the weather, wearing layers where possible, as temperatures in outdoor venues may change throughout the raceday.

What if I don’t know how to bet?
Our friendly Wagering Ambassadors will be available throughout the raceday assisting guests with interpreting the racing program, understanding wagering options and helping them place bets. Look out for them as they roam the property.

Also visit our Wagering Lounge on the tarmac level (adjacent to the mutuel line) that features information displays on everything you need to know about betting.
